Unbiased political analysis the way you wished it existed. Well, friends, that's politics, politics, politics. It's the latest news and polls combined with a historical context that you will get nowhere else. I'm Justin Robert Young, historian, comedian, journalist. I talk to politicians and pollsters to help explain why the fate of the world is determined by a popularity contest.

Welcome to Politics Politics Politics

The new era of the only show that talks about all three begins!

Unbiased political analysis the way you wish it existed? That’s Politics Politics Politics.

The latest news and polls combined with a historical context you will get nowhere else. Historian and comedian Justin Robert Young talks to politicians, journalists and pollsters to help explain why the fate of the world is determined by a popularity contest.

There are plenty of shows that serve as a pep rally for either political party. They’re great, listen to them. Px3 is the scoreboard you can rely on.

I'm Justin Robert Young. I'm not here to tell you what to believe—I'm here to tell you who will win and why. I went to journalism school and did the internships but instead of joining the mainstream media I decided to fend for myself in the feral world of internet podcasting circa 2007. Since then, two of my albums have debuted at number one on the Billboard comedy chart, I crowdfunded a six-figure political card game on Kickstarter and launched an award-winning history podcast that explores the parallels between the 1960s elections and today.

Since 2015 I’ve created Politics Politics Politics with the support of the best listeners in the world. I’ve traveled the country covering political events in the same press pens as The New York Times, Washington Post and Politico.

We used to do this on Patreon but now we’ve upgraded to Substack.

Substack is the future of political media and the people who enjoy it. I would like to be as big a part of it as I can. It is an honor to join a platform alongside podcasts like The Fifth Column and Blocked and Reported and any website that can hold both Taylor Lorenz and Libs of TikTok is committed to representing the full gamut of political thought.

If you're already familiar with Politics Politics Politics, thank you for sticking with us on this journey. I am committed to making your subscription the best money you spend each month. For those who supported us on Patreon, you're still subscribed through the end of October, but you'll need to update your payment info to continue beyond that. It only takes a few seconds using the same email you've always used. Bonus episodes will keep arriving in your inbox, but they'll now be hosted here, not on Patreon, with a new private RSS feed that you can set up through episode emails or the "manage subscription" section of your account:

I want to give a huge thanks to the Substack team for helping with this transition. They are very hands on to make sure that this is as painless as possible. If you have any issues, email either bailey.dunn@substackinc.com or cora.lay@substackinc.com — they’ll help get you sorted in the transition!

If you’re new to the show, thank you for joining me on this journey. You will soon learn that some shows talk about politics, others talk about politics and still more discuss politics.

But this?

This is only Substack that talks about all three.
