Marjorie Taylor Greene yelled at Parkland Shooting survivor David Hogg about gun rights. Mrs. Greene is 26 years older than Hogg and at least to my knowledge has survived one less internationally known shooting.
Regardless of what you think of Mr. Hogg and his role as a gun control activist or gun control we general, we can agree that the tactics involved here are confrontational. Meant to gin up support from her side while stirring up disgust from the other.
Divisive.
Mrs. Greene is now Rep. Greene (R - GA14) and yesterday one of her colleagues began the process of trying to expel her from federal government.
My first reaction to stuff like this is to ignore it. Greene ran unopposed for her seat, she may or may not keep it. This is not behavior I think should be modeled in our government and the only way I can see it proliferated is if she becomes a martyr. There are many nutty representatives and in our past we’ve had some that had far worse beliefs and antics than hers.
But is that appropriate? Should a line in the sand be drawn?
I don’t have a point here, I am literally asking.
For real, that’s the end of this part of the newsletter.

Hey Justin, I just wanted to say that I am really enjoying the changes with the newsletter. I thought the old version was ok, and why not right "mostly GIFs" but I didn't know that I was wanting a little more. I think this new format hits the right balance. Since you have changed formats I have read every single one, nothing hits the trash unread. Keep it up. - STEVE
Thanks Steve! I also think these are a little more sharable. Which is nice if we want to try and grow things.

"Can you believe this Trump guy? He treats like an enemy, destabilising our economy, renegotiating trade deals that worked perfectly well for everyone. Hopefully, someone sensible will come in and restore international trade."

Can the Dems spike impeachment and get a bargain out of the GOP on something? - SEAN W
Certainly seems more plausible than the other way around.

I think Ryan's suggestion that Sununu should get a C highlights the advantages of dealing with Covid in small population centers. I'm in Seattle and the Seattle metro area has twice the population of New Hampshire. Also, I was going to nominate our governor, Jay Inslee, for a C in Covid response. He's one of a handful of Democrats I've voted for in my 53 years in this Kafka novel of a life. - JOHN
Any other governors we want to drop the C bomb on?
